Dr. Miller earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Nuclear Engineering from Kansas State University and his Ph.D. from Texas A&M University.  He has seven years of industrial experience in radiation transport, radiation shielding, nuclear reactor operations, and nuclear reactor design.  He is currently a professor in Nuclear Engineering with ongoing research in radiation detection, design of detector systems, and radiation transport.  He has team-taught a survey course in Medical Imaging several times, and he has conducted research on  Boron Neutron Capture Therapy for about five years.
